Why we gather

November is Homelessness Awareness Month

November is Homelessness Awareness Month

We want to create a society where we interact with one another — even if some have more and others have less.

What do we do at Fall for Community?

We make care packages — bags filled with hygiene items, warm accessories, snacks, and a handwritten note.

What happens to the packages?

They are circulated in the community — kept in cars, bags, and hands — so that if you ever come across someone needing assistance, you have something real to offer. A simple bag, a kind word, and a moment of connection can remind someone they are not invisible.

We may not be able to make everything better forever, but together we can make it better today.

Three ways to get involved

Show up however you can. All of it counts.

Donate

Give money or items.

Help us collect the everyday essentials that will be distributed to people experiencing homelessness and our featured community partner. Click here to see our list of needed items.

Volunteer

Give your time.

Sort, assemble, write notes, count coins, set up, clean up. No special experience needed — just a few hours and a willingness to show up.

Sponsor

Help us do more.

Have the ability to give a little bigger? Help us fill the gaps with bulk items, food for the day, bags for care packages, or a larger gift.

Our 2026 Community Partner

Senior Support Services

Each year Fall for Community chooses one local organization to stand behind. In 2026 we're supporting Senior Support Services and the older neighbors they walk alongside.
